Changes the Orion Nebula cloud to green and makes the stars blue, but it still looks better than black and gray...

5 of 5 TeleVue Bandmate-II Nebustar UHC Nebula filter-2" January 22, 2021
Reviewer: Jared Longden from ASHLAND, OR United States
I mostly use this filter with an APM 30 mm eyepiece. It can also be used with 1.25 inch eyepieces with a 1.25 " to 2 " adapter. The nebulosity in M42, the Orion nebula, really pops. The stars appear blue as this filter doesn't pass red light to the eye. I can't wait to try it on other emission nebula. Don was extremely helpful and fast in responding to my inquires about nebula filters. If you are a visual observer like myself look no further then Eyepieces Etc. Don shipped the products fast and they are flawless. Highly recommend!

5 of 5 Great companion to the O-III October 5, 2019
Reviewer: Jon from New England
Because this filter has broader bandwidth than the O-III, it makes for a good choice when using smaller exit pupils. Some objects don't respond well to the O-III, but do in this, due to the wider bandwidth.

For instance, the Horse Head nebula was visible in this filter, yet invisible in the O-III. The Veil stands out nicely using this filter, as does the loop in M42. While the O-III does give better contrast on certain objects, this filter seems to be more versatile. It's even better than my old Meade O-III.
