5 of 5 Excellent very short focal length Nagler Type VI December 19, 2021
Reviewer: Charles Snell from White Rock, NM United States
I like all the Nagler Type 6, this is the only one I did not have. It is generally too much power for my 10" f/5 dobs with a 0.7mm exit pupil and given my usually mediocre seeing on the downwind side of the mountains, but it is perfect for my little f/7 refractor. This and a 2X barlow gives me very high powers when usable. Tried it out on Jupiter early in the evening before it went too low on my one recent night with decent seeing. I believe it will prove quite useful, only very high power I need to take when traveling.
