5 of 5 First Light with an Ethos March 25, 2021
Reviewer: Geoff Chapman from Pittsburgh, PA United States
It was the sight of Neowise last fall that called me back to visual astronomy after some 30 years.  Retirement was at hand, and the pandemic gave me added hours, but it was the comet that called to me. The learning curve was steep, and Don, among others, have been valuable teachers in these first months. As I put together my scope and eyepieces, I was amazed at the quality of what was available.

Then I managed to bring the 10mm Ethos home. I’d read a great deal about it, and was excited for first light from Orion. But even with all that, I was unprepared for the visual experience of the night. I felt myself drawn into the cosmic starscape in a way that captivated me. With a range of sight far beyond anything I had seen before, with pinpoint clarity from edge to edge, I simply looked and looked. In the evenings since, the Ethos has been the second or third eyepiece I use, no matter what I am looking at. And then I just look some more.

What a great eyepiece!

5 of 5 Ethos 10mm from Don May 25, 2020
Reviewer: Wyatt Davis from Rye, NH United States
I love these eyepieces and currently have Ethoi 13, 10, 8, 6, and 4.7mm for use with my 10" dob and my refractors (plus a TV Nagler 31mm and a TV 24mm Panoptic). Big, wide, sharp, immersive views and great quality with lifetime manufacturer support. For example, I recent scratched a lens on my 6mm Ethos. It was repaired by TeleVue in Chester, NY, and is now back for an ongoing lifetime of service:  worth the investment. And, Don Pensak's contribution to the astronomical community's understanding of how to apply these eyepieces is priceless.

5 of 5 10 ethos is outstanding March 9, 2020
Reviewer: Douglas Pelley from Silver Spring, MD United States
As good as the 6mm ethos, which is also outstanding.   Eye relief is comfortable and stars are pin point.  Minimal field curvature observed when used in a tv 85
