As a newcomer to the Hobby, I had a ton of questions, and I found Don on the CN forums. Don is very knowledgeable, and more than willing to share his wisdom whether he profits from it or not. He suggested the Stellarvue 28/82 to me as an upgrade from the kit EPs and he was right!! The 28 gives expansive views, is sharp across the field, a truly immersive view.It is a perfect wide field EP for my XT8. I look forward to patronizing Don and Stellarvue in the future. ( only one thing, it is a HEAVY piece of glass!)

Don is very active on the CN forums, regularly providing extremely useful information free of charge. It was a no brainer to use his site to buy my first premium eyepiece.

Don runs a professional operation and Carrie’s high quality stuff with good explanations and is very communicative about when the products journey to your doorstep.  One of favorite places to buy gear!

5 of 5 Wow, what an eyepiece! February 12, 2023
Reviewer: Chris Newman from Farmington Hills, MI United States
Was already considering this eyepiece when I talked to Don and he recommended it as a step up from my Baadar 31mm Aspheric that wouldn't break the bank.  Couldn't be more pleased.  Think this is going to be my new favorite.  Very sharp across nearly the entire field.  Fits right in with the rest of my eye pieces which are TV DeLites.  Only criticism would be that it's quite large and heavy, but I knew that going in.  Couldn't be more statisfied with the purchase.

5 of 5 Very nice Eyepiece December 13, 2022
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Tennessee, United States
As expected, I've had nothing but cloudy nights since I received my Stellarvue 28mm eyepiece 10 days ago. Last night I finally had a short break in the clouds and took it out for a quick view. Didn't have time with it, but I was happy with the views so far.
Shipping was fast, the eyepiece was well packaged and Don also kept me updated.

5 of 5 SV 82Ëš 28mm ep December 12, 2022
Reviewer: Mar' Himmerich from Santa Fe, NM United States
I've used it once so far on a TV-85 with a filter to observe the North America nebula. I put a 1" extension on the barrel so I don't have to rack out so much, and used a Baader 2" parfocal ring so the barrel won't touch the diagonal prism. I prefer the diamond-facet band around this ep to the rib-pattern found on other 82Ëš 28s.

I found this ep to be very comfortable, and easy to use. I don't wear glasses and observed with the flexible rubber eye-shield in the up position the whole time I was using it.

I had been planning to buy from Vic, who had it in stock at Stellarview, but when I saw that Don had it, I ordered it here.
