It works, so I can't complain, but it was frustrating to find the laser set screw was stripped right out of the box. I have to just live with the fact that my laser is not held captive in the TuBlug. Like I said, it still works (the advantage of a barlowed laser is that the laser alignment is not a factor, after all), but I just know that my laser is going to tumble out and bite the dust hard one of these nights. I don't think the fundamental design of this set screw would ever work anyways; the screw itself is cheap plastic, and the female threads are cut into the thin-wall tube of the collimator. Even with a metal set screw, there's just not enough meat in the tube wall for good thread engagement. Overall though, it's still better than a home-built barlowed laser, where you run to the front of the scope and crane your neck to look up the focuser every time you make a collimation adjustment. Kudos to EyepiecesEtc.com for an excellent buying experience, though. You guys rock!
