5 of 5 Immersive, generous eye relief May 16, 2023
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Boulder, CO United States
(I copy here my review for the 9mm Morpheus as I got both together) My first purchase from EyepiecesEtc., was shipped next morning and arrived well packed. Ordered this for my 8" SCT. I have a 22 T4 Nagler and was looking for eyepieces with a similar feel in terms of eye relief and apparent field of view. I ordered both the 9mm and 14mm Morpheus and they are as good as all the reviews you can find say (the 9mm is a bit sharper to the edge, the 14mm has the sharper field stop). I really like the dual 1.25"/2"barrel, so I can skip the 2" to 1.25" adapter. This comes also handy when using the 0.63 SCT reducer with a 2" diagonal. Using the Morpheus as 2" eyepieces saves about 20mm of backfocus.

5 of 5 BAADER MORPHEUS 14mm 76° April 25, 2022
Reviewer: Felix Orona from Los Angeles area, CA
I have waited a few months before writing this review to gain some experience with the lens, because I am a newbie to astronomy.  I thoroughly enjoy scanning the heavens with this lens on my ST80.  The long eye relief makes it comfortable for observing  with glasses.  The stars are sharp white pin pricks, and the wide field in darker skies is breathtaking.  Besides the lens being an excellent product and value for the price, much of the credit for my satisfaction goes to Don's great advice in helping me select it.  Don's service is top notch, and I appreciated the time he spent advising me as a newbie about my needs, as well as dark sites in SoCal.  I will be buying more lenses from Don.

Finally had some clear skies and the eyepiece was Excellent!  High contrast, sharp optically.  Talked with Don about eyepieces, wealth of knowledge, highly recommend calling EyepieceEtc if you have any questions about eyepieces.  Great service.  Used on an 8se SCT.
