5 of 5 Value is what you get March 25, 2023
Reviewer: David Glasser from Ellicott City, MD United States
This review is as much about Don and EyepiecesEtc as it is about the diagonal.

The Baader 2” BBHS diagonal is superb. Bright, crisp, colors look “like they should.” Well-made, easy to use and secure thanks to the ClickLock  lamp, versatile with the removable nosepiece. Reflectivity into the IR which gives it an advantage for use with night vision devices compared to a number of other dielectric mirror diagonals.

The added value is the dedication Don brings to the hobby and the business. The shopping experience (communication, timeliness) is first rate. Beyond that, Don is an infinitely patient teacher, sharing his knowledge and passion for visual observation on multiple astronomy bulletin boards, by email, or on the phone. He takes the mystery out of the subtle nuances between eyepieces, diagonals, and all the other optical “etceteras” essential to our hobby.

5 of 5 Great Support! March 19, 2021
Reviewer: Les Poltrack from Los Altos, CA United States
There was a mechanical problem with my Clicklock diagonal.  Having designed and built products for a couple of decades, it's understood that some % of product will have an issue.  Called Don - problem solved.  For better or worse, the skies were clouded over during the time to fix it, so I didn't lose a single day's observing.  Don is not only an honestly nice guy, but he also knows how to deal with problems when they come up.
